Architectes Solidaires

At the initiative of architect Cyril Durand-Behar, and as the result of a reflection carried out together with BATI’life during the period of the first lockdown, the association ARCHITECTES SOLIDAIRES was founded in June 2020. It brings together architectural firms wishing to engage in solidarity-based and voluntary actions.

Architectural firms voluntarily carry out the phases of studies, preliminary designs, cost estimates, and construction supervision. Following requests for the free provision of products and materials, several manufacturers of construction, renovation, and fit-out solutions have joined the initiative. Engineering and consultancy firms have also spontaneously offered their services on a voluntary basis.

NEKO Lighting had the pleasure of taking part in the renovation of the Henry Dunant relaxation area, intended for HEM staff and for the families of young patients hospitalized at the French Red Cross Children’s Hospital in Margency, with a project by architect Marcia Mendonça in collaboration with Sylvie Simon Elia, through the supply of lighting equipment.
